  10. #MOTOROLA SAID THIS WEEK that it is designing a PowerPC chip for personal
  11.  communications devices.  The company added that its Iridium network of 66
  12.  satellites for global wireless communications should be on-line by 1998, and

  15.  planned data highway, and Wednesday the administration took steps to create a

  19.  operations, AST Research has announced that it will pay only $105 million to

  23. #NEXT WEEK IBM is expected to announce its first workstation based on the
  24.  PowerPC chip technology.  The entry-level machine should be priced under
  25.  $5,000.  PowerPC chips cost about half what Intel charges for its Pentium, but
